Terra Mystica is a cult classic euro board game for 2-5 players. In 2025 I led a team to bring a new definitive edition of the game to life.
This version brought all of the previously released content into one place with a brand new more contemporary art style by principle artist, Jacqui Davis.
Responsibilities
- Led a small team to create a deluxe version of the cult classic board game, Terra Mystica.
- Managed timelines for the entire team to ensure everything ran on time.
- The crowdfunding campaign ran on Gamefound in 2025 bringing in £1 million in funding.
- Led the product design, updating components with brand new striking visuals as well as improving the usability.
- Worked closely with the art director, writing art briefs, and providing feedback on external artwork assets and internal graphic design.
- Managed communication with the license holder during the project with clear communication and creating a successful business relationship.
